CANADEM Operational Rosters of Sectoral Experts

CANADEM has a rapid mobilization capacity to identify screened and available experts from its consolidated roster (comprising a number of sectoral sub-rosters) of 60,000+ individuals. We accept applications for roster only from most qualified candidates with requisite professional expertise, academic qualifications and a clear mission potential.

Screening for Excellence

We confirm technical skills but focus on critically important interpersonal capacity. CANADEM screens for flexibility, adaptability, tolerance of ambiguity, and teamwork. Screening happens at application, by sectoral experts, and through partner feedback. The Roster Director may step in when needed, even briefing family members for high-risk missions.

CANADEM identifies the right experts and deploys them in days, with capacity to sustain and backstop them worldwide. For over 25 years, our core activity has been advancing peace and security through recruitment, screening, and rapid mobilization of international experts, particularly from the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

Global Expertise

With over 150 projects and a large roster, CANADEM brings nearly every skill set in humanitarian response and international development. Most experts have field experience with NGOs, UN agencies, governments, or international missions. The roster covers 63 languages, including all official UN languages.
